Nano Material Processing Lab (NMPL)

NMPL stands for Nano Materials and Processing. NMPL laboratory was established in 2009 under the Department of Materials Science Engineering in Chungnam National University, Daejeon, Republic of Korea.

It has 18 members (Prof. Jong-Hyeon Lee, 2 Research Professors, 2 Ph.D. Researchers, 2 Ms.D. Researchers, 9 Students and 1 Intern, 1 Secretary) in total including international and part-time students.

We are focusing on :

  1. the development of research and technology like Smelting-Refining technology including pyroprocess, electrorefining, electrowinning and electroreduction to achieve a carbon-neutral society
  2. the development of advanced materials for next-generation secondary batteries like silicon (Si) composite anode material, lithium (Li) metal and all solid state battery (ASSB)
  3. Synthesis of Functional Nanomaterials
  4. Numerical analysis to synthesize new materials for it.

Our motto is to contribute to the development of mankind and to research and develop technologies that allow us to live in a better world.

ALL the contents of our research and project are not included in this homepage. This is based on the security level of the project, companies that sponsor the project. Please feel free to contact us if you have any joint research or technucal inquirues.
